Successful MRC DTP students will be supported by
- a tax-free stipend (2024/25: £19,237 per annum outside London and £21,237 inside London),
- paid tuition fees,
- an annual research training and support grant (£5,000),
- a conference fund (£300 per annum) and
- access to the MRC Flexible Award scheme to help fund a wide range of research and training activities.
- Each iCASE studentship will receive additional support from the industry partner: £2,500 stipend top up per annum, £1,400 consumables top up per annum.
Other funding sources
In addition to MRC-funded stipends, we also have projects funded by other sources, such as university institutes or charities. They may differ from those funded by the MRC DTP.
